Hands of a Hero Foundation was thrilled to host its 2nd Annual Valentine Mentorship Dinner, an event dedicated to the continuous growth and inevitable success of the young growing females of the Grater Toronto Area (GTA).
The event took place on Febuary 16th 2014 at Malton Community Center in Mississauga Ontario. This was unique evening of dinning, mentorship and socializing with young girls ages 14 to 18 in a beautiful Valentine atmosphere.
We were honored to have in Claudette Johnson and Karlyn D Percil as guest speakers for the event.
The theme for this dinner was Inside Out, where we took the girls on a journey of empowerment, starting in the “center” and moving outwards. These young ladies discovered the vital importance of self-worth, self-respect and self-esteem, and the direct impact that these three have on their confidence and physical appearance. In short, they recognized the value of beauty and its ability to be seen from the inside out.
