Canada Programs

In Canada, Hands of a Hero Foundation provides initiatives that aims to enlighten youth, find their hidden abilities, and educate them about the importance of their existence in their communities. Our mandate and focus in Canada is to mentor and motivate youth to recognize their potential in life and provide the key resources they require to achieve their goals and aspirations.

The March Break Youth Program, Power in Me, includes a series of workshops that focus on youth from a personal and individual perspective while in a group setting. Power In Me raises self-awareness in young people and educates them on the importance of empowering themselves on self-image (self-acceptance, self-confidence and self-esteem), while learning how to build leadership skills and learning the basic fundamentals of job seeking – all facilitated in a creative and dynamic fashion. By focusing on three main components- Leadership, Employment and Self-Image, we want to enable participants of the program to learn ways to empower themselves and become leaders of tomorrow.

This program is dedicated to helping youth develop leadership skills, enhance their self-esteem and a chance for individuals make new friends. Participants will have an opportunity to learn about challenges in the world, a chance to share ideas, explore interests to plan their future and have a voice in a safe and open environment. Plus it will be a lot of fun!
