Heal the World Project

We are happy to announce that our first health care project (Heal the World) in the village of Oboyan has started with the help of our partner ICANA . We will be providing customized first aid kits to families in the village of Oboyan , located in the Eastern Region of Ghana. In addition, we will be conducting a health care workshop to the community members to educate them about sanitization and wellness. A huge thanks to ICANA for their support and everyone who has been supporting us through our fundraising initiatives.

Kick Start For “Heal the World” – DONATE TODAY

It is with great gratitude to announce our partnership with ICANA to raise funds for our health care initiative, Heal the World. ICANA is focused on facilitating the efforts of small scale NGOs, as well as creating opportunities to foster productivity of young African entrepreneurs within the Diaspora.

ICANA is currently helping Hands of a Hero Foundation (HOHF) to raise funds to purchase healthcare supplies for the village of Oboyan in the Eastern Region of Ghana. This is an adopted village HOHF has been working with since September 2014 and we hope to improve this community through initiatives such as “Heal the World”.

2015 Ghana Outreach Project

The Breakfast for Hope initiative is a brand new project that emerged from a partnership with Help the African Child Foundation. The purpose of the project is to provide nutritious breakfast to over 300 children in communities in Ghana; this way we are able to positively influence children in school attendance as well as their learning experiences, and daily activities. Many children in Ghana are not granted the opportunity to enjoy a healthy breakfast on a regular basis, thus many are disrupted by their hunger pains, and fatigue, which results in lower physical activity and a decreased ability to focus. Breakfast for Hope

will ensure school-age children obtain lasting and positive effects by participating in the program. Breakfast for Hope was launched on October 1st, 2013.

If you would like to make contribution to the Breakfast for Hope project, or any of our other ongoing projects please contact us directly at contactus@handsofahero.org
