Heal The World

Heal The World is a heath care program, implemented in 2015 with the support of ICANA Africa, an organization that supports African growth via facilitating a network of resourceful individuals/organizations possessing genuine interests in African developmental initiatives.

The health initiative is focused on the quality of health care in rural villages in Ghana and the program was first initiated in Oboyan, village located in the Eastern Region of Ghana. This initiative aims to garner (by donations & purchases) medical supplies for communities in order to provide access to the basic medical supplies needed – i.e. disposable heat/cold packs, band aids, first aid kits, hand sanitizer, disposable gloves, blood pressure cuffs, and thermometers. This would initiate the necessary steps required in greatly improving the health of its residents. In addition, this project will also include a focus on the physical healthcare of the members of the community and would involve bringing healthcare practitioner to the communities to provide physical checkups, first aid workshops, dental hygiene checkups, and provide equipment such as toothpaste, toothbrushes, and other items for maintaining good health.
